A compact, black-finished metal stepping ring that bridges M42 screw-mount lenses to Canon EOS camera mounts. Outer diameter: 48 mm; inner diameter: 38 mm; thickness: ~5 mm; weight: ~38 g. Precision-machined from a single piece of metal for dimensional consistency and torsional rigidity. Includes dual mechanical retention features — a sprung lock pin for axial security and a fine-pitch stop screw for angular repeatability.
