BNO055 9-DOF Sensor Module AHRS

This compact sensor module is built around the Bosch BNO055 system-in-package (SiP) chip, integrating a 3-axis 12-bit accelerometer, a 3-axis 16-bit gyroscope, and a 3-axis geomagnetic sensor — delivering true 9-degree-of-freedom (9-DOF) fusion sensing. The module features an embedded 32-bit microcontroller unit (MCU) that performs real-time sensor fusion algorithms (e.g., orientation, quaternion, Euler angles) onboard, eliminating the need for external computation. It operates within a 3–5 V supply range thanks to an integrated low-dropout (LDO) voltage regulator, and communicates via standard I²C or serial protocols for seamless integration. Measuring approximately 15 mm × 15 mm (exact dimensions may vary ±1–3 cm due to manual measurement tolerance), it is constructed on a rigid PCB substrate with a single-row pin header included for breadboard or PCB mounting.
