Breathable Solid Wood Reed Holder

Exact size: 12.5 cm (L) × 7.5 cm (W) × 3.5 cm (H); total mass: 180 g. Accommodates six standard oboe reeds vertically aligned. Core material is kiln-dried solid wood, fully wrapped in matte black PU leatherette for tactile comfort and surface resilience. Ventilation is not an afterthought — two rows of 4 mm diameter holes per side ensure balanced air movement without weakening structural rigidity. Lid opens smoothly along a durable metal-reinforced hinge and seals quietly with a positive snap engagement. Internal cavity is fully lined with soft-touch PU to cushion reed wires and prevent abrasion. Used wherever reed integrity matters: commuting musicians keep it in cycle panniers or train seat pockets; freelance players stash it beside their stand during multi-hour opera pit rehearsals; educators use it to demonstrate reed grading and conditioning techniques with clear visual access and safe handling.
