CPL ND Black Mist Magnetic Filter

This magnetic lens filter is purpose-built for the Insta360 Luna Ultra pocket gimbal camera. Made from colour-accurate optical glass, it features multi-layer anti-reflective coating and an AF Clean Coating surface treatment. Its 37mm form factor fits seamlessly onto the Luna Ultra’s lens barrel, and the integrated magnetic ring delivers 1.8x greater holding strength versus baseline magnetic filters. The unit combines circular polarisation (CPL), neutral density (ND), and Black Mist diffusion in one low-profile design. Total weight is ~12g, supporting extended handheld use without affecting gimbal balance. The CPL component cuts reflective glare from wet surfaces, windows, or skies — enhancing sky contrast and foliage vibrancy in landscape shots. The ND element provides consistent light reduction for motion-smooth video in daylight, enabling cinematic shutter angles without overexposure. The Black Mist effect subtly scatters light to soften edges and reduce harsh contrast, particularly beneficial for skin tones and ambient night scenes. All layers are fused into a single substrate to prevent internal flare or ghosting. Designed for creators who move fluidly between environments — sun-drenched coastlines, shaded urban alleys, indoor cafés, or evening markets — this filter ensures stable exposure, natural colour fidelity, and expressive tonal rendering across changing light conditions without requiring app adjustments or post-processing fixes.
