Each year, over one and a half million scouts ""get together"" for the annual jamboree-on-the-air (jota). using the modern communication technology of amateur radio stations, scouts have the opportunity to make friends in other countries without even leaving home. jota is the largest annual youth gathering on earth, where the voices of young people of all nations are heard.
