Curved Rod Pawl Pull Start Assembly

This pull start assembly is designed for Honda GX160 and GX200 engines (5.5HP and 6.5HP), including compatible clones. It features a curved steel rod pawl mechanism with precise dimensional specifications: centre-to-centre hole distance is 160 mm (6.30 in), adjacent hole spacing is 80 mm (3.15 in), and ratchet diameter is 55 mm (1.97 in). The housing is made of durable metal to provide friction resistance and long-term structural integrity. The pull cord operates smoothly and resists breaking under normal use, aided by an integrated coil spring that ensures fast, reliable recoil return. Constructed with a plastic body and red-and-black colour scheme, the unit includes one pull plate, one rope, and three mounting screws. Please verify pawl shape and dimensions against your existing unit before purchase.
