A dedicated desktop UHF RFID reader supporting EPC GEN2 (ISO18000-6C) passive tags in the 860–960 MHz band. Features include a built-in 2dBi circularly polarised antenna, software-selectable output power (12.5–26 dBm), and dual-mode frequency operation (FHSS or fixed). Read range reaches up to 0.5 m and write range up to 0.2 m — influenced by tag quality, material surroundings, and configuration. Supports active and passive operating modes; answer mode is technically available but not suitable for production use. Communicates via USB virtual keyboard interface and draws power exclusively from the USB port (+5V DC). Housed in white plastic, it operates continuously between -20°C and +55°C and stores safely from -40°C to +85°C. Includes one reader unit and one USB data cable only.
