DIY 6M Patio Mist Cooling System

A complete do-it-yourself outdoor misting solution comprising 6 metres of kink-resistant PE tubing, 6 adjustable mist nozzles, 20 nylon cable ties, 1 large-diameter push-fit joint and 1 threaded end plug. Dimensions: tubing OD 6 mm, nozzle orifice 0.3 mm, total weight approx. 380 g. Material is certified non-toxic PE—safe for use near edible gardens, children’s play areas and poultry. Works at standard UK mains water pressure (2–6 bar); higher pressure yields finer mist and greater cooling efficiency. The system cools via evaporative heat absorption—each gram of mist absorbs ~2,400 joules of heat energy, reducing ambient temperature measurably within shaded or semi-ventilated zones. Designed for quick adaptation: cut tubing with scissors, insert nozzles into pre-punched holes, tighten with included ties, join sections with the large joint, seal ends with the plug—and connect to any outdoor tap.
