The articulated mouthpiece connects to two large loose rings for use with a compatible bridle and reins.Two mouthpiece widths are available: 12.5 cm and 13.5 cm. The overall widths are approximately 28 cm and 29 cm, while each loose ring measures about 8 cm in diameter. The selected size refers to the mouthpiece width between the rings, so compare it with a correctly fitted existing bit before ordering.Check that the bit sits securely without pinching the lips or allowing excessive side movement. Inspect the mouthpiece, centre link and rings before every ride, and stop using it if any surface becomes rough, bent, cracked or corroded. One snaffle bit is included; bridle and reins are not supplied.
