Description

Drybase Waterproof Plugging Compound - Stop Water Leaks in Just 30 Seconds

Drybase Waterproof Plug is a rapid-setting, cement-based repair compound designed to stop active water leaks and damp ingress in masonry, concrete and earthenware. Ready mixed and fast acting, it sets in just 30 seconds, making it ideal for emergency repair work and applications where early strength is essential. It is suitable for both internal and external use. Common uses include sealing leaking cracks, wet surfaces and seepage in concrete, plugging leaks in earthenware pipes, caulking tunnel segment joints, and anchoring fixings in structures that are damp or in contact with water. The product is also suitable for rain-exposed repairs and can be applied to surfaces that are wet or submerged, where access allows. To apply, mix a small amount of powder with water (1 kg to 0.25 L) and immediately hand-press the mortar into the prepared substrate. It should be held firmly in place for 30 seconds until set. For high-flow leaks, the dry powder can be applied directly and held against the surface to halt water ingress. Drybase Waterproof Plug is compatible with subsequent overcoating using Drybase waterproofing systems once the plug has cured. Each application should be prepared carefully, as the compound sets quickly and cannot be reworked. Available in 3 kg, 7.5 kg and 15 kg resealable buckets.
