Requires dedicated AC 12–18 V power supply — sharing power with the main amplifier board may cause malfunction or failure. Supports total speaker load of 50–300 W, with up to 130 W per channel. Constructed with ABS housing for durability and thermal stability. Equipped with status LED (on = active, off = protection engaged) and dual parallel OMRON relays rated for consistent performance across repeated switching cycles. Provides essential power-on delay (~3 s) to eliminate turn-on thump and DC protection activated at ~1 V control voltage. Circuit design prioritises simplicity and safety — no microcontrollers or complex ICs, reducing failure points. Compatible only with conventional analog amplifier boards; explicitly incompatible with digital amplifiers and BTL configurations.
