If the flusher is to be installed on the ceramic cistern, please unscrew and remove the chrome ring under the push button, no need to sue this chrome ring If you replace the flusher in the concealed plastic cistern (inside the back to the wall), you can use the chrome ring on the cabinet that holds the concealed siphon 2" outlet supplied with ceramic cistern. The new standard toilets have a 2'' socket. Suitable for close coupled toilets with button hole on top of tank lid This unit will also replace the flush in the concealed plastic tank
