Closed size: ~12.5 × 3.5 × 1.6 cm; open working length: ~23 cm. Features two permanently bonded diamond grit surfaces — one coarse (approx. 120–180 mesh equivalent), one fine (approx. 400–600 mesh equivalent) — mounted on a rigid core and fully enclosed by a hinged plastic shell. The shell opens smoothly and locks in place via mechanical interlock, ensuring stability during use. Designed for direct-contact sharpening: apply moderate pressure and stroke the blade edge away from the cutting edge at a steady angle. Works effectively on carbon steel, stainless, and coated blades — especially valuable where electricity or workshop space is unavailable.
