Dual VU Meter Preamp Driver Kit

This kit provides everything needed to add professional-grade VU metering to custom audio equipment: two 35 mm square VU meter heads, one front-mounted driver board, and six connection cables. Each meter head measures 0–500 µA with ±5% accuracy, 650 Ω resistance (±10%), and requires 6–12 V for backlighting. The driver board—now in its fourth iteration—features tighter dimensional control and significantly improved pointer linearity at low deflections, solving historical sensitivity inconsistencies. All components are housed in ABS casing and mounted on reliable PCB substrates, making the system suitable for permanent installation in preamps, power amps, or effects units where visual level feedback enhances usability and sonic control.
