Durable Beehive Wire Tensioner

Compact 13.5 x 6 x 2.3 cm tool weighing 230 g. Features hardened stainless steel crimping wheels mounted on a solid hardwood handle. Designed exclusively for installing and retensioning wire in wooden beehive frames — not intended for general-purpose gripping or cutting. The wheel geometry allows wire to seat fully before tension is applied, preventing slippage and ensuring twist consistency. Tested under real UK apiary conditions including damp grassland sites and coastal exposures — maintains function after prolonged exposure to dew, pollen dust and light propolis residue.
