Floating switch designed for use in wastewater and sewage applications with suspended solids. This heavy-duty, dual-purpose suspension switch features an integrated concrete counterweight to maintain proper orientation, even when surrounded by floating debris. The SPDT switch is suitable for both pump control in filling and emptying operations. Directly controls pumps up to 1/2 HP at 120 V or 220 V, up to 15 A. Suitable for septic tanks, sewage tanks, and potable water systems. Built-in micro-switch rated for 50,000 cycles. PVC/thermoplastic cable jacket. Contains a stainless steel ball. Includes adjustable weights. Buoy dimensions: 6.1 inches long × 3.8 inches diameter (155 mm × 98 mm). Rated for indoor or outdoor use; operating temperature range: 0°C to 80°C. Freeze-resistant design. Reinforced double O-ring cable entry. Ingress protection rating: IP65. Color: blue. Materials: metal and plastic. Cable length: 4 meters. Package includes: 1 × float switch.
