A purpose-built metal microtome designed for routine plant sectioning in UK school laboratories. Measures 75 x 72 mm. Lifting range: 0–10 mm. Accuracy: 0.01–0.1 mm, with measured error of ±0.005 mm at 0.01 mm, 0.02 mm, and 0.01 mm positions. Scale division: 0.02 mm. Finish: blue and silver. Includes 1 microtome unit and 1 knife (random colour; colour not selectable). Suitable for plant samples up to 10 mm in diameter and 25–30 mm in length. Colour may differ slightly from images due to lighting and screen variation. Allowable measurement deviation: ±1–3 cm.
