A complete water pump impeller kit with integrated housing, made from a combination of metal and plastic materials to balance strength, weight, and corrosion resistance. Suitable for Mercury outboard motors spanning four decades — from Pre-Alpha units produced between 1970 and 1983, through Alpha One models (1983–1990), up to modern 2-stroke engines rated 65hp to 220hp. Verified compatibility extends across numerous Mercury part numbers including 46-96148Q8, 46-96148A8, 46-42579A4, and more. Meets dimensional and functional expectations for field service replacement, with tolerance allowances aligned to Mercury’s published service standards (+/- 1–3 cm).
