Function: The electric throttle helps regulate manifold heating and was standard on many emissions-compliant vehicles starting in 1973. Works: Operates by using a 12-volt electrical system to heat the carburetor spring, actuating the lever to open. Installation: Install the bearing seat cap onto the housing and secure with the fixing ring bolts, ensuring the cap is firmly in place but still rotatable. Align the mark on the cover with the center index mark on the casting, then tighten the bolt.
