Entangled

with the rise of a vicious pandemic, the world is not what it once was. chaos and confusion abound, as no one knows how the sickness started-only that it continues to end in violence.davina, like so many others, is doing her best to survive. in an effort to try to keep her family together, she agrees to regular check-ins with her ex-husband and their children. so when zane suddenly starts missing her calls, davina knows something has gone wrong.when she finds her children, it becomes clear that zane has well and truly disappeared. the next hard truth that comes to light may be even more horrifying: it's not a virus affecting people, but demonic possession. the supernatural is taking over human bodies, controlling them with a brutality that upends their true selves in a storm of uncharacteristic and ferocious behaviors. now, davina must reckon with the very real possibility that this was zane's fate.as the true nature of the pandemic spreads, citizens have just one place to go: consecrated grounds, where it seems the demons have no power. safe haven camps are built, people are relocated, scouting teams are assembled...even when they don't know who can be trusted, they must keep faith in one another.davina and her team will follow every lead that brings them closer to survival. she just needs to convince them to help her find zane, too, no matter how difficult raiden-the broody medic who barely tolerates her-makes that mission.they hardly know what they're looking for, much less what they'll find. but as far as davina's concerned, they just need to get through this alive.
