ER20A Precision Ground Spindle Extender

ER20A-compatible spindle extension rod, 8 mm nominal diameter, manufactured from high-grade carbon steel and fully precision ground for consistent geometry and low runout. Features straight-shank configuration with integrated clamping nut for reliable axial retention. All critical surfaces — including extension rod body and internal bore — are ground to tight dimensional tolerances to suppress dynamic imbalance and improve operational safety during cutting. Intended for use in metalworking applications including CNC milling, lathe work, PCB engraving, and precision drilling. Installation follows thermal expansion principle: bore is heated to ~300°C using high-frequency induction, expanded temporarily to accept the machine spindle, then cooled to form a permanent, slip-resistant interference fit. Supplied as single unit, ready for immediate integration into existing ER20 toolholding systems.
