Fine & Coarse Biofilter Sponges

This replacement sponge pack is designed exclusively for the WilTec CBF-350 continuous-flow biological pond filter. It includes two fine-pore sponges for secondary filtration and beneficial biofilm development, and two coarse-pore sponges for primary mechanical capture of leaves, debris, and organic particulates. Each sponge is engineered with a uniform cell structure and consistent density to ensure laminar water flow across the full filter surface — preventing channeling and maximising contact time for biological filtration. All materials are non-toxic and certified pond-safe, with no leaching of additives or degradation into microplastics under normal pond conditions. The sponges are precision-cut to fit directly into the CBF-350 housing without trimming, folding or adhesives, enabling quick, repeatable installation season after season.
