Flexible EPDM 3m Garage Seal Kit

This 3-metre garage door sealing kit comprises a single continuous EPDM rubber strip, cut to precise length with factory-square ends. It features a 14 mm high sealing fin and 16 mm wide mounting base, with an integrated 0.5 mm thick acrylic adhesive layer covered by a durable silicone-coated release liner. The rubber hardness is Shore A 60 ± 5 — soft enough to conform to minor floor imperfections, firm enough to resist permanent deformation under typical door weight (up to 80 kg per linear metre). EPDM’s inherent hydrophobicity repels water rather than absorbing it, preventing freeze-thaw damage in UK winters. Its thermal conductivity is 0.22 W/m·K — low enough to contribute meaningfully to thermal separation without compromising mechanical durability. All materials comply with REACH Annex XVII, containing no SVHC substances restricted for sale in the EU/UK market. Designed for DIY-friendly application, the kit includes a printed installation guide with UK-specific tips: surface temperature minimums, humidity limits, and recommendations for adhesive enhancement on porous masonry — reflecting real-world conditions encountered during autumn/winter fitting windows common across the UK.
