Flexible Perforated Silicone Baking Sheet

40 x 30 cm format; 120 g weight; 0.8 mm thickness; certified for continuous use up to 230°C (446°F); made from platinum-cured, food-grade silicone with uniform 2.5 mm perforations; compliant with UKCA and EU food contact standards. The mat’s slight inherent flexibility enables secure wrapping around loaf tins for easy removal of sticky banana bread or dense fruit cakes, while its tensile strength prevents stretching or tearing during handling. Perforations are arranged in a staggered grid to maximise open surface area without compromising structural cohesion — resulting in superior steam escape for wet batters and reduced condensation under foil covers during slow-roast applications. Its neutral pH surface does not react with alkaline leaveners (e.g., bicarbonate-based recipes) or acidic fruits (e.g., rhubarb or blackcurrant fillings), preserving intended rise and flavour balance. Engineered for resilience in shared UK households — tested with multi-generational use patterns, including simultaneous oven and air fryer deployment, accidental drops onto tiled floors, and storage in cramped cupboard spaces — without loss of function or surface finish.
