Foldable Orange Rice Paper Party Lanterns

Round decorative lanterns sized at 4 inches (10 cm) diameter, individually handmade using traditional rice paper techniques adapted for modern durability. Paper weight: 80 gsm; finished unit weight: 25g. Surface exhibits fine grain texture and gentle translucency — optimised for ambient glow when backlit, not direct illumination. Colour consistency verified batch-to-batch using Pantone C match standards. Deployment sequence is three-step and tool-free: (1) lift wire loop, (2) gently pull downward, (3) release — lantern achieves full sphericity within 2 seconds. Collapse follows reverse motion: compress midsection, guide panels inward, lay flat. No memory degradation observed after 50+ open/close cycles in controlled testing. Widely applied across UK social infrastructure: parish hall fetes, scout group jamborees, NHS staff appreciation events, university society launches, care home activity sessions, and family-centred holiday traditions. Also serves as low-commitment starter decor for renters exploring interior styling — easily redeployed across flats, houseshares and temporary accommodations without legacy damage or disposal guilt.
