Geometry-Classroom Adjustable Compass

A classroom-proven, durable compass designed for secondary school and further education maths departments. Complies with UK DfE guidance for KS4 geometry equipment: fully adjustable up to 150 cm diameter, with clear linear calibration and tactile locking action. Made from impact-resistant PP and corrosion-resistant metal components to survive daily student handling and shared storage environments. Supports national curriculum objectives for constructing loci, bisecting angles, and drawing tangents — with sufficient reach to demonstrate circle theorems on whiteboards or A0 paper. Compatible with standard 2 mm mechanical pencils and traditional graphite sticks. Includes beam extension for advanced constructions (e.g., circumcircles of obtuse triangles), and ships with instructional usage notes aligned to Edexcel and AQA GCSE syllabi.
