Geum chiloense Mrs J Bradshaw - Avens, Plant in 9cm Pots
Geum are native to North and South America, Asia, New Zealand and Africa. Geum Mrs J Bradshaw has been a feature in our gardens for over 100 years. A compact plant with attractive green foliage it produces tall thin stems of semi double, rich scarlet flowers, in late spring and early summer. Dead head to extend flowering period. Excellent in a mixed planting, or in groups. Can easily be grown in a pot or other container. Use a good quality compost and ensure you feed regularly as a hungry plant is a poor performer. We recommend Osmoscote pro 8-9 month applied in the early spring. One application gives all the nutrients the plant requires for the whole year.
