Green Caterpillar Study Mesh Habitat

This 20 cm cube habitat is purpose-built for observing caterpillars and other small terrestrial invertebrates. Made from soft-touch, green PVC-coated polyester mesh, it offers gentle containment with high air exchange and full visual access. Its flat base sits steadily on tables, soil, or trays; the top handle lifts cleanly without snagging. At just 120 g, it’s ideal for carrying between classroom, garden, and home — supporting multi-session studies across days or weeks. Compatible with natural substrates like leaves, bark, and moss, it avoids plastic trays or artificial feeders, keeping focus on authentic ecological relationships. Used widely in UK forest school settings and home education groups for ethical, tactile nature connection.
