Ideal for cutting threads in metal, also perfect for deburring/recutting old, worn threads. The tap set comes with 5 pieces ranging in size from the small M3 up to the largest in the set M8. Each bit cuts a right-hand thread. The taps are made of HSS steel and have a titanium coating that helps reduce friction between the cutter and the material you are cutting, while also helping to cut a more accurate thread and keep the cutter sharper for longer. Each tap has a round shank with a square head, so you can install it in a hand tapping tool, or you can use it in a drill. For replacing broken taps. Quantity supplied: 1 set
