When the signal module detects obstacles ahead, the green indicator light on the circuit board turns on and the OUT port outputs a low-level signal. The detection distance can be adjusted with the potentiometer, clockwise to increase the detection distance and counter-clockwise to reduce it. The sensor module uses active infrared reflection detection, so the target's reflectivity and shape are key factors in the detection range. Black color has the minimum detection range, while white has the maximum. Small objects have a short detection range, while large objects have a long detection range. The sensor module's output port OUT can be directly connected to a micro-controller IO port or drive a 5V relay directly. It features stable performance with the LM393 chips and can be powered by a 3 to 5V DC power supply. The module is designed with 3mm screw holes for convenient fixation and easy installation. Each module has already adjusted the threshold compare voltage with the potentiometer, so please do not arbitrarily adjust it.
