L-Glutamine is the most abundant amino acid in all musculoskeletal tissue, protects muscle mass and favors the elimination of ammonia. L-Glutamine represents more than 60% of the amino acid pool present in striated muscle and its function is to preserve muscle tissue in situations of "stress" or high intensity exercise. L-Glutamine supplementation improves the efficiency of the aerobic energy pathways, favoring the recovery of muscle and liver glycogen. It is recommended to take L-Glutamine in periods where its decrease is possible due to the intensity and duration of the exercise practiced. Take in periods of great muscle wasting, divided into three doses; before and after training and before sleep.
