If you have a wider strap on your old watch, there will be a small gap at the attachment. If you don't want that, buy a strap that is exactly like your old one. How do you replace a watch strap? Measure the inside of the strap's attachment on the case. Is it 18 mm? Then this strap will fit well. Most watches have a small pin with a spring in it, which allows you to push in the end and thus loosen the pin. Press with your fingernail or something small on the edge to loosen the pin from the attachment on the case. Remove the strap, save the pin and insert it into the new strap. Pry the pin into the attachment so that it attaches properly. Now you have a new strap!
