This nine-axis sensor consumes 2.5 milliwatts of power while integrating a three-axis gyroscope, accelerometer, and magnetometer into a single compact unit. It incorporates an onboard motion processor, multiple digital communication standards, and broad voltage compatibility for direct integration into embedded electronics. 1. The measurement subsystem provides a three-axis gyroscope with selectable full-scale ranges of ±250, ±500, ±1000, and ±2000 degrees per second, alongside a three-axis accelerometer supporting programmable spans of ±2g, ±4g, ±8g, and ±16g. 2. Internal circuitry features a digital motion processor, on-chip 16-bit analog-to-digital converters with adjustable filtering, a digital output temperature sensor, and an auxiliary I2C interface designed for connecting additional external components. 3. Electrical operation requires a supply voltage between 1.71 and 3.6 volts and utilizes either 7 MHz SPI or 400 kHz I2C data transfer protocols, with native software compatibility for Android systems. 4. The unit is manufactured from black plastic with a hermetically sealed MEMS core bonded at the wafer level, and the retail package includes a single sensor module.
