M16x2 Galvanized Hex Plug with Seal

Robust M16×2 male-threaded pipe end cap made from galvanized steel, featuring a 17 mm hex socket head and an integrated rubber sealing element. Designed specifically for permanent or semi-permanent termination of metric pipe systems. Physical specs: overall length ~20 mm, thread length ~12 mm, hex width 17 mm, mass ~25 g. The galvanized coating delivers proven resistance to oxidation in humid, saline or mildly acidic conditions — validated in UK building environments ranging from coastal installations to condensing boiler circuits. The rubber seal is vulcanized into the plug’s base, ensuring positional stability during installation and sustained compression after tightening. Compatible with standard 17 mm wrenches; no additional adapters or sockets required. Commonly applied in domestic central heating systems, compressed air line closures, ventilation duct blanking and industrial conduit termination where reliability and ease of verification matter most.
