Marine-Proof 2-Wire Trim Sensor

Engineered specifically for marine environments, this trim sensor uses UV-stabilised ABS material that resists degradation from sunlight, salt spray, freshwater immersion, grease, oil, dirt, and mild acidic exposure. Its lightweight design ensures minimal added mass to the trim system, while its robustness supports reliable operation across seasonal temperature shifts and frequent washdowns typical in UK marinas. The sensor is dimensionally identical to original equipment and installs directly into SX-C, SX-C1, SX-C2, SX-M, DP-S, and DP-SM transom assemblies. It supports the full trim range required for proper engine tilt control and is validated for use with outboard motors produced between 1998 (BY prefix) and 2001. Package includes only one (1) Trim S sensor — no fasteners, gaskets, or connectors are supplied. Colour may vary slightly due to screen calibration and ambient lighting conditions. Dimensional tolerance is ±1–3 cm per manufacturing standard.
