Description

MAX2870 wideband phase-locked loop with integrated VCO for flexible N-frequency division mode, enabling precise clock generation across a broad spectrum. Signals source module includes a 25 MHz 0.5 ppm TCXO for stable reference. The internal VCO output ranges from 3-6 GHz, with the baseband frequency divided 3 GHz. Internal multiplexing integrated VCO covers 3,000 to 6,000 MHz and uses an output divider of 1-128 to realize a wideband clock output. Signals source module features an LCD display; output frequency mode supports fixed (point) frequency and selectable (optional) frequency. Use scenarios: - RF test bench or measurement setup requiring a stable reference and wideband clock distribution for devices in the 3-6 GHz range. - Development and testing of wireless communication front-ends and transceivers needing flexible VCO operation and scalable clock outputs. - PLL and VCO performance characterization in laboratory environments, with clear frequency readout via the LCD and configurable output modes.
