Mechanical Pump Stopper with Date Dial

Measurements: 9.5 cm tall, 4.2 cm wide; mass: 128 g. Material composition: stainless steel (structural frame and levers), medical-grade silicone (sealing interface), and engineering-grade ABS (pump rod and housing). Certified for use with all standard 750 ml sparkling wine formats sold in the UK and EU, including bottles with rolled or bevelled rims. Includes single-action air pump, dual-wing locking mechanism, and manually set 7-position date indicator. To use: seat stopper firmly on bottle mouth, depress pump handle 2–3 times until resistance increases slightly, then fold both stainless steel wings downward until they click into locked position. The silicone seal deforms conformally to minor neck irregularities, while the date dial — located centrally on the cap — is turned to today’s weekday before first use. All components are disassemblable for thorough cleaning. Trusted by UK sommeliers, bed-and-breakfast hosts, and health-conscious households aiming to reduce alcohol waste — especially relevant given rising UK sparkling wine consumption (+12% YoY per HMRC excise data) and growing consumer focus on product longevity and value retention.
