The toothbrush performs two simultaneous processes: it removes plaque while massaging the gums and performs a deep interdental cleaning with less toothpaste. It is provided with two types of filaments designed in different structures and sizes so that some remove the bacterial plaque from the surface of the teeth and the gum line, while providing massage, and others penetrate gently and deeply into the the interdental spaces performing a cleaning similar to the interdental floss or brush. It has a flexible, anatomical and non-slip handle that provides a comfortable and effective brushing. The toothbrush filaments are made of PBT (polybutylene teraphthalate) to which compounds with permanent antibacterial action and xylitol (also xylitol) or fluoride are integrated, applying the latest technologies in oral hygiene. In addition to the antibacterial component, both xylitol and fluoride, integrated in the toothbrush filaments, are essential in the prevention of cavities. Fluoride acts on the mineralization of teeth and protects them, making them more resistant to the action of bacteria. Xylitol, which is obtained mainly from birch wood, is recognized by the FAO / WHO as an inhibitor of the growth of the bacterium Streptococcus mutans, the main cause of dental caries. Alternation of both Irisana toothbrushes is recommended because it provides effective prevention and oral hygiene. Change the brush when the filaments are noticeably open. After use, it should be washed well and stored in a container with the filaments facing up to dry as soon as possible. It should never be kept covered (with a cover, for example) or immersed in water, which would favor the growth of fungi and bacteria.
