This motor drive shield expansion board features an L293D high-voltage 4-channel driver designed to control various motor types and servos. The board supports dual power supply inputs and includes safety features like thermal protection and a reset button. 1. Compatible with Arduino Mega, Diecimila, and Duemilanove boards, it provides two interfaces for 5V servos linked to a dedicated timer to eliminate signal jitter. 2. Capable of driving up to four bidirectional DC motors with individual 8-bit speed settings, two stepper motors in unipolar or bipolar modes, or two servos simultaneously. 3. Operates within a 4.5V to 25V motor voltage range at up to 1A current, utilizing four H-bridges rated at 0.6A each with integrated thermal protection and power-up disable resistors. 4. Measures 6.7 by 5.3 cm and packages one motor drive shield expansion board equipped with two external terminals for separate logic and motor power connections.
