Amplifier and Audio Output A built-in 2W mono amplifier powers a speaker directly, with a 5V supply capable of delivering up to 3W. A 4-ohm, 3W speaker is recommended for best results. The board also features a gold-plated 3.5mm headphone jack, allowing connection to headphones or an external audio system for greater flexibility. Power Supply and Wiring Power can be supplied through the USB interface using a mobile power bank, USB charger or phone data cable. The board also accepts a 3.7V lithium battery as an alternative power source.
