MT2 B16 Quick-Adjust Boring Chuck

A dedicated boring chuck built on the B16 taper standard with a Morse Taper MK2 (MT2) shank for direct, rigid mounting in lathes, radial drills, or pillar drills equipped with MT2 spindles. Accepts straight-shank tools from 1 mm to 16 mm diameter. Uses integrated conical tensioning elements to achieve secure grip and fast release without auxiliary tools. Made from heat-treated alloy steel to resist galling and maintain dimensional integrity after repeated tightening cycles. Dimensions: total length ~125 mm, taper length 60 mm, nominal taper angle 2.86° (MT2), jaw range 1–16 mm. Intended for workshop and light industrial use where speed, repeatability, and concentricity are prioritised over ultra-high-speed operation.
