MX6 MX8 Elite Flow Regulator Replacement

A direct-fit FRV100 flow regulator valve replacement for Zodiac MX6, MX6 Elite, MX8 and MX8 Elite in-ground suction pool cleaners. Physical specs: ~8.5 cm length, 5.5 cm width, 4 cm height; mass ~80 g; housing material is reinforced plastic rated for continuous wet-service use. It functions as a fixed-orifice hydraulic limiter, reducing peak flow volume to match the cleaner’s design envelope — thereby stabilising motor load, minimising gear backlash and supporting uniform brush rotation. Installation requires only hand-tightening onto the cleaner’s inlet and hose connection; no sealants or tools needed. Intended solely for permanently installed in-ground pools with standard filtration systems.
