Natural Cork Flute Head Plugs 3Pcs

Set of 3 natural cork head plugs designed specifically for wooden flutes. Each plug is made from pure, uncompressed natural cork with inherent compressibility and resilience. Dimensions match standard wooden flute head joint openings (approx. 18–19mm diameter, 25mm length — trimmable for custom fit). Lightweight and low-density, the set weighs under 10g total. Cork’s cellular structure provides gentle yet effective compression against wood without marring or scratching surfaces. These plugs seal the head joint to prevent air leakage during play, stabilise alignment during maintenance, and protect internal bore integrity during storage or transport. They are intended for repeated insertion and removal, supporting routine technician checks, student instrument adjustments, and workshop repairs. Ideal for flute technicians, music teachers, and performers maintaining vintage or handmade wooden flutes. Use to verify tenon fit, test joint airtightness after re-corking, or secure head joints inside cases — all without altering original instrument geometry.
