Oak-Handle Steel-Core Scoring Roller

Size: 16.8 × 3.8 cm. Materials: Solid carbon steel roller head, sustainably harvested oak handle. No adhesives, plastics, or composite layers — fully disassemblable and repairable if needed. Weight distribution places centre of gravity near the palm’s base, minimising fatigue during repetitive scoring. The steel wheel’s diameter and axle clearance are engineered to avoid ‘dig-in’ on soft substrates while maintaining bite on stiff board — eliminating the need to adjust pressure manually. Combined with the oak handle’s inherent shock absorption, this reduces transmission of vibration to the user’s metacarpals. Used by UK-based wedding stationers for embossed invitation suites, packaging prototypers validating fold strength, and STEM educators demonstrating material stress principles — this tool delivers measurable repeatability across diverse real-world applications where consistency matters more than speed.
