CTB00715 CAN Tester Box is a CAN Bus circuit tester compatible with 12V and 24V systems. - Test a CAN BUS module directly when CTB00715 is connected to a 12V/24V backup power battery. - Includes a 59-inch long OBD2 extension cable and supports standard OBD2 plugs for car, truck, and motorcycle installations; an OBD2 to OBD adapter enables use on OBD vehicles as well. - Quickly connect 16 pins during vehicle maintenance diagnosis; suitable for testing 16-pin digital data with a multimeter or oscilloscope. - Monitors the OBD2 input voltage during module operation, with high and low voltage alarms. - For battery replacement, connect CTB00715 to a 12V/24V battery and the car OBD2 plug to provide power to the vehicle, preserving ECU data. Use scenarios: - In a repair shop, diagnose a CAN bus module directly by powering it from a backup 12V/24V source while connected to the vehicle’s OBD2 interface. - On trucks or motorcycles, leverage the 59-inch OBD2 extension to access distant or hard-to-reach connectors and test 16-pin digital signals with a multimeter or oscilloscope. - During battery replacement, power the vehicle via CTB00715 from the battery while maintaining ECU data integrity through the OBD2 connection.
