This box is compatible with control types EDC15 (diesel) and ME7. The EDC15 control for diesel engines is installed in models from 1999 onwards. The ME7 control for engines 1.6 I and above is also supported. Supported control unit types include ME7.5, ME7.5.1, ME7.1, and ME7.1.1. Usage instructions: Plug the EDC15/ME7 box into the vehicle's OBD2 diagnostic port. Turn the OBD2 switch on the Drive box to "OFF". After 20 seconds, the immobilizer will be deactivated (IMMO OFF). NO COMPUTER REQUIRED! The LED on the tool will flash slowly at first, then rapidly after a few seconds, indicating that the immobilizer function is disabled. The vehicle will operate without a transponder key. To reactivate the immobilizer, turn the switch to "ON" on the Drive box. After 20 seconds, the immobilizer will be activated (IMMO ON). Designed for models equipped with Motronic systems EDC15 (diesel) or ME7. Not suitable for 1.8T, 2.0TFSI, 1.4, or 1.6 engine models.
