This box is compatible with control types EDC15 (diesel) and ME7 (petrol). The EDC15 control for diesel engines is installed in models from 1999 onwards. The ME7 control for petrol engines starting from 1.6i is also supported. Supported control unit types include ME7.5, ME7.5.1, ME7.1, and ME7.1.1. Usage instructions: Plug the EDC15/ME7 box into the vehicle's diagnostic socket (OBD2). Switch the OBD2 drive box to "OFF". After 20 to 30 seconds, the immobilizer will be deactivated (IMMO OFF). No computer required. The LED on the tool will flash slowly at first, then rapidly, indicating that the immobilizer function is disabled. The vehicle will operate without a transponder key. To restore the immobilizer, switch the drive box back to "ON". After 20 to 30 seconds, the immobilizer will be reactivated (IMMO ON). Compatible with models equipped with Motronic types EDC15 (diesel) or ME7 (petrol). Not suitable for 1.8T, 2.0TFSI, 1.4, or 1.6 petrol engine models.
