This box is compatible with control types EDC15 (diesel) and ME7. The EDC15 control for diesel engines is installed in models from 1999 onwards. The ME7 control for engines 1.6 I and above is also supported. Supported control unit types include ME7.5, ME7.5.1, ME7.1, and ME7.1.1. Usage instructions: Plug the EDC15/ME7 box into the vehicle's diagnostic socket (OBD2). Switch the OBD2 Drive Box to "OFF". After approximately 20 seconds, the immobilizer will be deactivated (IMMO OFF). No computer required. The LED on the tool will flash slowly at first, then rapidly, indicating the immobilizer function has been disabled. The vehicle will operate without a transponder key. To reactivate, switch the Drive Box to "ON". After approximately 20 seconds, the immobilizer will be activated (IMMO ON). Designed for models equipped with Motronic types EDC15 (diesel) or ME7. Not suitable for 1.8T, 2.0TFSI, 1.4, or 1.6 engine models. This tool is sold exclusively to authorized automotive professionals and trade personnel with valid industry certification.
