Odor Eliminating Spring Stopper Strainer

3.5 inch (89 mm) diameter strainer basket designed for standard UK sink waste outlets; fabricated from impact-resistant, heat-tolerant ABS with enhanced wall thickness for load-bearing durability; employs dual rubber sealing rings engineered for optimal compression on ceramic, stainless steel, and composite basin surfaces; utilises a concealed coil spring system for positive-action, self-resetting operation between sealed and open states; houses a non-woven deodorising filter layer fused into the lower mesh plane. The unit operates silently and reliably — no rattling, no sticking, no misalignment — thanks to tight manufacturing tolerances and balanced spring tension. Its shallow profile avoids interference with sink sprayers or pull-down taps, and its smooth ABS surface cleans easily under running water without trapping residue. Use it during food prep to catch onion skins and herb stems, while hand-washing delicate items requiring controlled water levels, or during bathroom grooming to intercept hair and toothpaste residue — always with confidence in both seal integrity and odour management.
