Old Man Beard Resin Tree Bird Feeder

Dimensions: eye motif 5 × 5 cm; nose-and-beard zone 10 × 15 cm. Unit weight: 450 g. Material: synthetic resin with hand-enhanced bark texture and matte earth-tone finish. Packaging: rigid carton with sealed polybag (21 × 14 × 11 cm). The beard forms a naturally sheltered feeding pocket — wide enough for multiple birds to feed side-by-side, yet deep enough to retain seed during light wind or drizzle. Mounts via rear hook onto any firm wooden substrate (nail required separately). Carving avoids cartoonish exaggeration — instead uses proportion and shadow depth to suggest age, wisdom and rootedness, aligning with native UK woodland aesthetics. Use it to anchor a ‘wild corner’ of your garden — pair with native plants like hawthorn or ivy to reinforce habitat continuity. Encourages repeat visits by resident and migratory species alike, particularly during colder months when natural food sources dwindle — all while serving as a quiet, characterful landmark visible from indoors or outdoor seating.
